I’ve got a fab opportunity for a vet to join this lovely practice in the North East a short commute from Durham.My client is looking for a vet with enthusiasm and a desire to learn and develop. The ideal candidate will have a little experience but new graduates will be considered as my client has an experienced (cert holder) surgeon that is able to mentor less experienced colleagues. One to one surgical support is real here if/when required. You’ll be able to manage your own caseload and have continuity throughout.The practice are keen to maintain a good work/life balance, staff are looked after and breaks are protected. CPD is also important and you’ll benefit from a generous allowance with financial support for certificates and areas of interest.The practice is well equipped with great diagnostic kit including digital imaging facilities (including dental X ray), ultrasound, endoscope, diathermy, ECG & BP Monitoring as well as excellent surgical tools including lap kit. The practice is busy with a varied caseload including some exotics.The successful candidate will be working a full time 4 day week with 1:3 Saturday morning consults until noon. No on call/nights.
