Enterprise Senior PowerBI Developer

We are seeking an Enterprise Senior Power BI Developer to lead the delivery of sophisticated analytics solutions for a large-scale enterprise project; 482 Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate. This role requires a specialist who excels in complex data modelling, advanced DAX engineering, and the implementation of robust governance frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring that our client’s data is not only visualised but is accurate, secure, and performant at an enterprise scale.
📋 Core Responsibilities

• Enterprise Modelling: Design and implement complex, scalable data models using Tabular Editor and Star Schema methodologies.
• DAX Engineering: Develop and optimise advanced DAX measures for high-performance reporting across massive datasets.
• Fabric & Integration: Leverage Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse) and DirectLake connectivity to modernise the data delivery layer.
• Governance & Security: Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) while ensuring compliance with organisational data sovereignty policies.
• Performance Tuning: Analyse report performance using DAX Studio and VertiPaq Analyser to identify and resolve processing bottlenecks.
• Deployment Pipelines: Manage Lifecycle Management using Power BI Deployment Pipelines or ALM Toolkit to ensure seamless transition between Dev, Test, and Prod.
• Stakeholder Consultancy: Act as a technical advisor to business leaders, translating high-level goals into interactive, data-driven stories.

✅ Technical Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years in Business Intelligence, with at least 5 years focused on Power BI in enterprise environments.
• Technical Mastery: Expert-level DAX and Power Query (M) skills.
• SQL Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation from Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or SQL Server.
• Tools: Deep experience with Tabular Editor 3, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit.
• Cloud Ecosystem: Strong understanding of the Azure Data stack and Microsoft Fabric architecture.
