We are looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse to join a Specialist Community Mental Health Service within the Acute/Mood Team. Division: Mental Health Services – Specialist Community
Unit: Acute / Mood Team
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (No shift work or rotating roster)
Salary Range: $87,416 – $110,497 per annum + applicable entitlements
Commencement: ASAP Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented mental health nursing care
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support consumers with acute mental health needs
- Ensure compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and service development
Essential Selection Criteria
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with a valid practising certificate
- Minimum of three years full-time equivalent post-registration clinical experience
- Demonstrated competency and experience in mental health nursing practice
- Currently enrolled in an approved mental health qualification or holding a recognised mental health nursing qualification
- Proven ability to deliver safe, high-quality clinical care
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
