We are seeking a Project Manager to own and manage ongoing research projects. This is a hands‑on role combining recruitment, relationship management, project execution, and process improvement. You will have real responsibility and autonomy rather than narrow task execution. Key Responsibilities Research Project Management
- Identify, screen, and onboard qualified professionals across China to support research project delivery
- Plan and coordinate outreach, interview scheduling, and survey distribution to ensure timely and efficient project execution
- Monitor respondent quotas and project milestones to ensure delivery quality and timeline adherence
- Support the coordination and execution of qualitative interviews when required, ensuring smooth fieldwork operations
- Use Excel, SPSS, SQL, and other tools to perform data cleaning and processing for survey data, and structure and organize research data accordingly.
- Assist with Chinese English questionnaire translation.
Process & Operational Development
- Track end-to-end recruitment and project execution progress, proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, and drive issue resolution
- Continuously improve outreach workflows, data tracking systems, and respondent management processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability
- Maintain accurate and structured project documentation to ensure data integrity, transparency, and traceability across workstreams
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Coordination
- Partner closely with research leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment between project scope, resource allocation, and execution plans
- Coordinate with internal teams and offshore counterparts to ensure seamless cross-regional delivery
- Provide contextual insights on regional market dynamics and respondent behaviour to support project planning and execution decisions
Essential Skills
- Native or professional fluency in Mandarin and English
- Strong experience using WeChat for professional communication and community building
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
- Highly proactive, organized, and results‑driven
- Comfortable with outreach, follow‑ups, and relationship‑based recruitment
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Essential qualifications
- Bachelor's degree minimum
- At least two years of professional experience in Market research or Project management
Good-to-have skills
- Experience in life sciences, biotech, manufacturing, or technology sectors
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting
- SQL or CRM experience
- Exposure to qualitative research or expert interviews

- 60% working from home, 40% from our office in Shoreditch (a higher in-office percentage during your first 6 months)
