- Work closely with management and employees to ensure compliance with all Housing and Meals under governing regulations for H2A employee housing.
- Identify and support in the selection of housing and meals of vendors. Housing selection will include the measurements of units to ensure they meet employee housing requirements.
- Implement, participate, monitor, and execute ongoing inspections in all areas ensuring safety and compliance for the residents.
- Assist with the coordination of housing set up and tear down across various departments and regions
- Conduct housing investigations to resolve employment relations issues associated with housing rules.
- Communicate and implement company policies and procedures applicable in the company housing.
- Coordinates information flow amongst company departments.
- Support the annual process of reviewing cost allocations for company housing.
- Respond to a high volume of inquiries via email, phone, or in person.
- Support the negotiation of contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Relocate to Salinas, California from mid-March to early November and work in the Imperial and Yuma Valleys from early November to mid-March, depending on business needs.
- Work with property management on compliance, inspections, resolving facility issues, repairs, and maintenance.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including General Managers, to design company housing programs including meals programs as applicable.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with various entities including, U.S. Department of Labor, Federal & State. Ensure rules, regulations, and procedures related to employment, safety, and immigration & work visa requirements.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, retention, and employee engagement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of employee housing experience in the agriculture industry preferred, that would provide the level of knowledge and ability required for the position.
- High school diploma required.
Language Skills:
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and professional manners with all Company employees, including general labor, administrative, supervisory and management employees and external stakeholders.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and explain company policies in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to write reports, disciplinary notices and other paperwork as instructed by HR.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
- Must be bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish.
Other:
- Travel required, about 50%.
- Requires working outside normal business hours and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of driving Company vehicle.
- Outside work requires walking, standing in fields in all weather conditions. Must be able to visit all Company departments and environments, including, office, field, shop, etc.
- Light to moderate lifting (up to 40 pounds).
- Reaching, stooping, pulling, pushing and manual dexterity.
- Operating a computer, calculator, copier, and typewriter involves repetitive hand arm movement. Entering data by touch requires the ability to hear computer alarms for errors.
- Must be able to interact politely and professionally with customers and vendors.
- Communication with other staff members involves making contact orally, via the telephone, electronic email or in person.
