Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Perform brake, suspension, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
- Conduct fault finding and mechanical troubleshooting
- Complete trailer and dolly servicing, repairs, and maintenance
- Accurately complete job cards and workshop paperwork
- Ensure all vehicles meet roadworthiness standards and NHVAS compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete repair projects efficiently
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and/or Trailer Mechanic
- Relevant trade qualification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- MC licence advantageous but not essential
