Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan air cargo and freight movements to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations, including shipment booking, scheduling, and coordination with airlines and international agents.
• Monitor cargo flow and operational performance to ensure smooth logistics processes and timely delivery of services.
• Ensure compliance with aviation cargo regulations, safety standards and company policies.
• Resolve operational issues, delays and customer complaints related to freight movement.
• Ensure all freight operations are conducted in a safe, secure and cost-efficient manner.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of international freight processes, airline cargo systems and customs procedures.
• Previous management or supervising experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
