Ref Number B04-07339 Professional Expertise Research and Research Support Department UCL BEAMS (B04) 07-May-2026 About us The Bartlett School of Environment Energy and Resources provides a collaborative and flexible environment for its four Institutes to share knowledge and resources between the School’s shared problem domains of Energy, Environment, Resources and Heritage. The Institute of Sustainable Resources generates knowledge in the globally sustainable use of natural resources and the net-zero targets through innovative research across the topics of resource efficiency, circular economy, eco-innovation, and low carbon societies. About the role The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will have the primary responsibility for developing a state-of-the-art Subnational Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model for the UK, with a particular focus on distributional impacts and the introduction of emerging economic activities beyond standard national accounting classifications. This post is available from 01June 2026 and is funded for 24 months in the first instance; further funding to support the post may become available. About you The ideal candidate will be highly quantitative and analytical, with proven experience in constructing Social Accounting Matrices and developing CGE models. The candidate should also have excellent skills in household survey and data analysis using Stata or Python, as well as a good knowledge of circular economy and supply chain analysis.
