- Clinical accuracy with system support
- Minimal counter-based interaction
What Makes This Role Different
- AI-supported clinical checking model
- Approximately 20–30% of prescriptions require direct pharmacist clinical checking, allowing focus on:
- Exceptions and complex cases
- Clinical services and optimisation
- Oversight rather than repetitive checking
- Robotic dispensing (MDS/dosette and original pack automation)
- Planned, repeat-based workload rather than reactive dispensing
What You’ll Be Doing
- Clinical verification within an automated, high-volume environment
- Supporting care home medication supply (bulk and repeat)
- Delivering planned services such as vaccinations and care home visits
- Working with experienced dispensers and business support teams
- Contributing to process improvement and workflow efficiency
- Occasional support across other branches under remote supervision and authorising pharmacist model

- Weekend work only in rare, pre-planned exceptional circumstances

- Vaccination clinics delivered in a planned model
- Regular care home site visits including reviews, optimisation and staff liaison

Requirements
- Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council or eligible via EEA pathway
- Interest in process-driven, non-retail pharmacy models
- Comfortable working with automation and AI-supported systems
