KTP Associate: Novel Food Development Lead
We are seeking an ambitious candidate with experience in bioprocessing or novel food development for a KTP Associate position based at Green Britain Group, in Bath and Stroud, UK.

About The Role
You will be working within Green Britain Group to embed knowledge through this innovative Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), with academic support from the University of Bath, to extract edible proteins from grass, producing a vast, sustainable source of inexpensive nutritious food products including a burger and protein shakes.

By joining this multidisciplinary KTP between Green Britain Group and the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath, you will have the opportunity to work on a challenging and exciting project, using ground-breaking technology with incredible team support and development opportunities.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A PhD in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Food Science or a master's degree with a minimum of three years' manufacturing experience in the novel food sector
- A thorough understanding of lignocellulosic processing or protein extraction
- Experience of bioprocessing laboratory work
- Experience of collaborative working with industry
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
About KTP
As a KTP Associate you will be the project lead, managing your own workload to ensure outputs align with project expectations, including leading on meetings. You will also acquire new skills in strategic leadership that can help to super-charge your career.

Further information
This is a full-time, in-person position based between Bath and Stroud, for a fixed-term period of 27 months.
Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:30 to 16:00 Fridays, and you will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday annually, in addition to UK public holidays.
