We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The Senior Chef de Partie will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining a cohesive and efficient kitchen operation. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s standards and recipes
  • Supervise and assist junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth workflow during service
  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring all meals are prepared efficiently and presented attractively
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in excellent condition and report any faults promptly
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage stock levels, minimise waste, and control costs
  • Support training programmes for junior team members to uphold service standards
  • Ensure cleanliness of workstations before, during, and after shifts

Skills
  • Extensive experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
  • Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of various cooking techniques
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
  • Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of quality
  • Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
  • Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving knowledge that enhances guest satisfaction
