- Northern Territory (Permanent): Join a major health service in Darwin or Alice Springs. These roles offer full visa sponsorship (186/482/494) for eligible international candidates and some of the most generous leave entitlements in Australia.
- Victoria (Permanent AOD Specialist): Based in Regional East Gippsland, this role at a leading residential facility focuses on withdrawal management and community reconnection. This position offers a high hourly rate and generous salary packaging.
- New South Wales (Short-Term Contracts): Flexible contracts featuring salaries aligned with State Award standards, including casual loading and travel reimbursements.
Duties
- Deliver specialized mental health and AOD clinical care across inpatient or community settings.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, medication management, and withdrawal monitoring.
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to provide culturally safe and trauma-informed care.
- Provide support, education, and advocacy for residents and their families.
Skills & Experience
- AHPRA Registration: Current unconditional registration as a Registered Nurse (Essential).
- Mental Health Experience: A minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in Mental Health or AOD settings—must be hospital/ward based, non-aged care (Essential).
- Specialized Experience: Experience in residential withdrawal or acute mental health crisis intervention is highly regarded.
- International Applicants: We provide expedited support for candidates with qualifications and experience from the UK, Ireland, NZ, USA, and Canada. (A completed ANMAC skills assessment is required prior to application submission)

Benefits
- Northern Territory: $80,665 – $107,800 base + $9k retention allowance + 7 weeks annual leave.
- Victoria: $56.55 per hour + $5,000 relocation allowance + Salary Packaging (increases take-home pay) + Monthly RDOs.
- New South Wales: Award aligned rates + Casual loading + Travel and accommodation support for eligible contracts.
- Visa Support: 186 (Permanent), 482 (Temporary), or 494 (Regional Sponsored) available for the NT.
