ACCOUNTANT

About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to manage financial reporting, compliance and analysis functions within the business. This role plays a key part in supporting business performance, improving financial processes, and assisting management with informed decision making.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet reports
• Bank reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with month end close
• Assisting with cashflow
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making
• Prepare cost and expense analysis reports and identify opportunities for cost control
• Manage general ledger and journal entries
• Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and ensure GST compliance
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts
• Ensure compliance with relevant taxation and regulatory requirements
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors as required

We are looking for a tertiary qualified accounting professional

• self-driven and able to manage multiple tasks and business entities
• with excellent attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• with verified 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
