Guest Services Supervisor – Maruia Hot Springs (Live & Work Remotely) Maruia Hot Springs is a remote, nature-based wellness destination on the West Coast. We are seeking a capable and adaptable Guest Services Supervisor to support daily front-of-house operations and lead a small team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on role combining guest service, team support, and operational systems management in a unique off-grid environment. Key responsibilities:

• Supervising front desk operations and guest services
• Leading shifts and supporting a small team
• Managing guest enquiries, bookings, and service delivery
• Operating booking systems, POS, and administrative processes
• Supporting reporting, systems, and workflow improvements
• Preparing beverages including coffee as required
• Maintaining high service standards in a remote setting

Skills & experience:

• Relevant experience in customer service, hospitality, or operational environments
• Demonstrated team leadership or supervisory capability
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn systems quickly
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve
• Barista experience preferred

Qualifications:

• Experience of 3 years or more in leadership and hospitality roles.
• A tertiary diploma or degree

The role requires:

• Willingness to live and work in a remote location
• Availability to work weekends
• Adaptability to a hands-on, team-based environment
