IIndependent Support Workers Australia (IDSWA) is an Australian organization focused on supporting independent NDIS support workers and connecting them with participants seeking disability support services. It provides training, coaching, business guidance, directories, and networking resources for workers who want to operate independently rather than through large agencies.A Community Support Worker helps elderly people, people with disabilities, or NDIS participants live safely and independently at home and in the community. Typical duties include:Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)Meal preparation and feeding supportCleaning and household tasksMedication reminders/supportTransport to appointments or shoppingSocial support and companionshipHelping clients with daily activitiesWriting care notes and following care plansSupporting independence and community participationPay: $4,800.00 – $6,500.00 per monthBenefits:
