Line Cook – North Indian Cuisine (Pub Kitchen) Accommodation available

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our pub kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing North Indian dishes and some South Indian specialties, while working efficiently in a fast-paced pub environment. Indian Preferred, Accommodation available and At-least 2 years of experience required. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of North Indian dishes such as curries, tandoori items, breads, and appetizers.
• Assist with South Indian dishes including dosa, idli, sambhar, and chutneys when required
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
• Follow kitchen safety, hygiene, and food handling standards
• Assist with ingredient prep, chopping, marination, and sauce preparation
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

Requirements:

• Basic Food Allergen Awareness Training
• Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
• Health & Safety Training (Workplace Safety)
• Experience cooking North Indian cuisine (2+ years preferred)
• Basic knowledge of South Indian cuisine
• Right to Work in the UK
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Team player with good communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a pub or restaurant kitchen
• Knowledge of tandoor cooking
• Ability to manage prep work and multitask during service
