Senior Staff Digital Verification Engineer

I’m working with a global semiconductor company developing technologies that enable electrification, energy efficiency and next-generation connected devices.

I’m looking for a Senior Staff Digital Verification Engineer to join their growing R&D team in Bristol, taking ownership of complex IP verification and helping shape verification strategy across future product development.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the verification of complex digital IP blocks from planning through to sign-off
• Developing and maintaining advanced SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments
• Creating functional coverage models and constrained-random test scenarios
• Driving coverage closure and ensuring verification quality targets are achieved
• Debugging complex issues and working closely with design and architecture teams to resolve them
• Influencing verification methodology, best practice and testbench architecture across projects
• Contributing to technical discussions and helping drive continuous improvement within the verification team

What I’m looking for

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 8+ years’ experience in Digital Verification
• Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM
• Proven experience verifying complex IP or SoC designs
• Strong understanding of constrained-random verification and coverage-driven methodologies
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Fluent English communication skills
