Position: Veterinary Surgeon (Cardiologist)
Medivet Orrell Park is seeking an ambitious Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for Cardiology who is eager to develop and grow a dedicated caseload within a thriving, supportive practice
. This role is ideal for a vet looking to build their cardiology expertise and clinical profile
, with the autonomy to shape how cardiology services are delivered locally while still enjoying a varied GP caseload. You’ll be supported to develop advanced diagnostic and case management skills
, and encouraged to take ownership of your clinical interests as they evolve. You’ll work closely with the Lead Vet contributing to the ongoing growth and clinical direction of the practice
, with genuine opportunities to expand cardiology services and establish yourself as the go‑to vet in this area
. The practice is well‑equipped and newly refurbished
, featuring digital X‑ray, ultrasound, a brand‑new laparoscopy suite, and dental facilities‑providing a strong foundation for cardiology work‑ups. In addition, you’ll benefit from close collaboration with Medivet Alder 24‑hour hospital
, offering access to advanced imaging, complex case support, and round‑the‑clock inpatient care
, ensuring continuity and depth in your cardiology caseload. This is a full‑time role across 4 days per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays
, offering an excellent balance of clinical development, case continuity, and long‑term career progression
