Overview
Are you a recent UK graduate with a passion for logistics? Ilco Limited is looking for a Graduate Transport and Distribution Manager to join our fast-track leadership program. This is a high- responsibility role where you will be mentored by our Operations Director to manage a key pillar of our UK supply chain. We are explicitly looking for a candidate who qualify as "New Entrants" under the UK Home Office rules. We offer full sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa. Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of transportation and distribution operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Prepare monthly KPI reports ( Key Performance Indicators ) on delivery accuracy and vehicle downtime for the Directors.
- Analyze distribution data to identify inefficiencies in route planning and fuel consumption.
- Utilise transportation management systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and optimise logistics activities.
- Supervise warehouse staff involved in shipping, receiving, and inventory management; ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage the vehicle maintenance schedule, ensuring all MOTs, inspections, and services are booked without disrupting operations.
- Monitor weekly departmental spend against the transport budget.
- Coordinate forklift operations and other warehouse activities to facilitate smooth material handling.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations during all distribution activities.
Qualifications A recent degree ( within the last 3 years ) from a UK University in Business , Logistics,Supply Chain , Management or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills ( Excel/ Data visualization )
- Excellent leadership potential and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead teams towards operational excellence through continuous improvement strategies.
