Consultant General Physician | Major Tertiary Teaching Hospital | Adelaide
The Opportunity
We are keen to connect with FRACP General Physicians interested in a full-time role within a high-acuity academic environment.
The General Medicine service operates at scale, managing complex inpatient presentations across a large and diverse metropolitan catchment. The role offers the opportunity to practise comprehensive acute medicine within a mature subspecialty network, while contributing to registrar supervision, medical education and service development.
This position will appeal to Physicians seeking clinical depth, academic engagement and involvement in a high-functioning tertiary department.
The Hospital
This is a large tertiary referral and teaching hospital with more than 500 beds, serving as a principal referral centre for southern metropolitan Adelaide and surrounding regions.

- Level 1 trauma and major Emergency Department interface
- ICU and subspecialty backup across all major disciplines

Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – General Medicine
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
- International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
