Judo Bank is an Australian challenger bank focused on providing business lending and term deposit products for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), aiming to simplify and improve access to business finance. Position Summary:A Senior Credit Analyst evaluates the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses, manages risk exposure, and provides recommendations to support lending decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and experience with credit risk assessment. Key Responsibilities:Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess the risk of lending.Evaluate loan applications and recommend approval, rejection, or modification based on risk assessment.Monitor existing credit accounts for early signs of deterioration and recommend mitigation strategies.Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to management or lending committees.Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting credit risk.Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on complex credit assessments.Collaborate with relationship managers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure sound credit decisions. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred for some firms).5–8+ years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or risk management.Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills.Knowledge of credit risk metrics, scoring models, and regulatory frameworks.Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations.Proficiency in financial software and tools (Excel, Bloomberg, SAP, or industry-specific systems).Pay: $7,000.00 – $11,000.00 per monthBenefits:
