We are currently looking for a Restaurant Manager at OUR INDIAN CUISINE RESTAURANT & BAR at Auckland based restaurant with relevant experience to provide exceptional service to our clients. Employment- Full-time- Permanent Location – Auckland Wages- $27 to $35 (based on experience) Weekly hours: 30 - 40 Hours Per Week Position: Restaurant Manager Work experience: Two years (relevant) We are looking for a restaurant manager who will be mainly responsible for the operations and management for our business located in Auckland. Job Description of Restaurant Manager is below but not limited to. Ensure all staff are utilized efficiently and are managed at all time, Ensure profit margin are met Organize and control expenses such as labor cost, waste and others to ensure daily/weekly profit Hiring new staff for both and laying off seasonal staff Ensure quality food are served at all time Maintaining standard of food presentation and hygiene Undertake budgeting and assist in menu pricing and controlling expenses Managing stock and weekly inventory report for the bar and for the restaurant. Managing day to day activities including opening and closing of restaurant. Plan menu for the restaurant. All cash handling and financial transactions Liaising with suppliers to ensure restaurant inventory is up to date Responsible for purchasing, establishing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels for the restaurant operations and administering the inventory process. Maintaining customer satisfaction and handling any complains and queries Ensuring safety and cleanliness policy followed by all staff Order supplies and keep records and accounts Estimate material and labor requirements Organize and plan parties Research the niche market and target to maximize the profit Develop and implement marketing plan Avail the opportunity of marketing whenever possible Coordinate planning, budgeting and purchasing for all the food operations within the restaurant Monitor sanitations practices to ensure that the standards and regulations are followed Investigate customer complaints Maintain work production or work records, Direct and coordinate activities of all staff, Conducting training for personnel No criminal record Candidate requirements: The applicant must have at least two years of relevant experience. The ability to motivate and direct a team to offer outstanding service Excellent communication skillsJob Type: PermanentPay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekBenefits:
