Full job descriptionESUSHI JAPANESE RESTAURANT Pty Ltd. is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team in Melbourne, GEELONG. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations at one of our restaurants, ensuring high-quality food preparation and maintaining efficient kitchen management.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards
  • Manage daily kitchen operations
  • Oversee stock rotation and inventory control
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
  • Assist with menu planning and development
  • Maintain consistency and quality in all food preparation

Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Chef
  • Previous experience with Asian cuisine is highly preferred
  • Strong kitchen management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • assisting with the training of staff
  • monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • discussing food preparation issues with Managers and Front of House staff
  • Availability to work full-time including weekends

Job Type: Full-timePay: $76,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
