Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated pharmacist to join our admissions and discharge team at King's Mill Hospital.This role includes working alongside the Short Stay Unit (SSU), Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) and Discharge Lounge medical and nursing teams, and attending consultant lead ward rounds to support medicines optimisation and timely discharge.Our Pharmacy department is committed to the training and development of all staff, and as part of this post, you will be given the opportunity to gain experience in the various domains of the RPS Advanced Practice Framework (APF) to develop the skills and knowledge required to progress your career further.This role will be maximised by the use of independent prescribing, and you will be given the opportunity to gain this qualification if not already achieved.   • Clinical Pharmacy knowledge associated with a Pharmacy degree course.
  • Experience gained through preregistration training.

Qualifications Essential
  • BSc, BPharm or MSc in Pharmacy. Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
