About the RoleNorthern District Community Health (NDCH) is looking for a General Practitioner to join our welcoming, multidisciplinary team in Kerang. Whether you're a fully registered VR GP, a Registrar still on your training journey, or an International Medical Graduate looking for a supportive home in Australian general practice - there is a place for you here.Our bulk-billing community clinic sees a genuine variety of patients across the lifespan - from young families to older adults managing complex chronic conditions.This is general practice the way many of us hoped it would be - clinically rich, professionally supported, and unmistakably human.

About YouYou're a doctor who likes people. You enjoy the breadth of general practice and the depth that comes from knowing patients over time. You're collaborative, curious, and as comfortable with a complex chronic care plan as you are with a school-aged child's first asthma review.You might be:• A fully registered VR GP looking for purposeful work and a better pace of life• A GP Registrar wanting strong supervision, varied exposure and a supportive training home• An International Medical Graduate on an approved pathway, looking for a community that will back you in• Someone earlier or later in your career who values team, community and balance over the corporate clinic model
Eligibility• Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility for registration, including via the Standard, Specialist or relevant IMG pathways)• GP Registrars on an accredited training pathway are warmly encouraged to apply - supervision is well-established and supported onsite• Vocational Registration (FRACGP/FACRRM) - or progress toward it• Willingness to live in or near Kerang and engage with the local community• National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Check, and standard pre-employment requirements
