A full-time Consultant Cardiologist opportunity is available within a major regional referral centre in Queensland.
This role offers broad inpatient and outpatient cardiology practice across a growing catchment of more than 265,000 people. You will work within a mature public health service while benefiting from access to a well-established regional interventional network.
Diagnostic cardiology services are supported within the public hospital, with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheter laboratory capability available through a dedicated private tertiary facility in the region.

The Hospital & Cardiac Network
The public hospital is a 320-bed major referral centre serving an 85,000 square kilometre footprint and employing over 4,000 staff.

Requirements

• Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Cardiology
• Minimum 12 months recent Consultant Cardiologist experience

International Medical Graduates:

• RACP interview date
• Assessed as substantially comparable and onshore in Australia
• Visa pathways available
