Civil Engineer / Design Engineer Flowpath Engineering Consultants (NZ)Flowpath Engineering Consultants is a New Zealand-based engineering consultancy specialising in land development and infrastructure design. We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer / Design Engineer to support the delivery of residential subdivisions and commercial development projects. About the RoleAs a Civil / Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and supporting land development projects, with a strong focus on 3-waters infrastructure, earthworks, and council approval processes. Key Responsibilities Civil Design WorkDesign roads, earthworks, stormwater, wastewater, and water supply systemsPrepare subdivision layouts and engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3DDevelop grading plans, long sections, and cross-sectionsSupport infrastructure design for land development projects Stormwater & Flooding AnalysisConduct stormwater calculations and modellingAssess flood risk and drainage performanceDesign detention and retention systems and drainage networks Documentation & Council ApprovalsPrepare engineering reports for resource and building consentsEnsure compliance with NZ engineering standards and council requirementsLiaise with councils for approvals and engineering sign-offs Site & Construction SupportConduct site inspections during constructionProvide technical support to contractorsAssist in resolving design and construction issues Coordination & TeamworkCollaborate with surveyors, planners, architects, and contractorsSupport senior engineers in project deliveryAttend client and council meetings as required RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringExperience in land development or infrastructure designProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential)Strong understanding of NZ council engineering standardsKnowledge of stormwater and 3-waters systemsStrong report writing and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple small-to-medium projects What We Offer?Exposure to a wide range of land development projectsSupportive engineering team environmentCareer development and progression opportunitiesHands-on experience with real-world infrastructure deliveryOpportunity to work on impactful NZ development projects Join Flowpath Engineering Consultants and help shape the future of land development and infrastructure in New Zealand.Pay: From $9,600.00 per monthBenefits:
