- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities according to individual care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Safely operate company vehicles for home visits where necessary, adhering to all driving regulations
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between client locations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow care plans precisely
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic nature
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
