About the RoleAs a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimise cloud-based data platforms that support reporting, analytics, business intelligence, and AI initiatives. You will work closely with clients across industries including finance, retail, logistics, government, and utilities. Key Responsibilities Data Platform DevelopmentDesign and build modern data platforms and cloud data solutionsDevelop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelinesIntegrate data from multiple business systems and applicationsSupport migration of on-premises data environments to the cloud Cloud & Azure EngineeringWork with Microsoft Azure data services and cloud technologiesBuild scalable analytics and data processing environmentsSupport Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and related platformsOptimise data storage, processing performance, and scalability Analytics & Business Intelligence SupportPrepare and transform data for reporting and analytics teamsDevelop data models for dashboards and business reportingSupport Power BI implementations and analytics solutionsEnable customers to generate valuable business insights from data Data Governance & QualityEnsure data quality, consistency, and reliabilityImplement validation, monitoring, and quality assurance processesSupport data governance, security, and compliance requirementsFollow industry best practices for data management Client Consulting & CollaborationWork directly with customer stakeholders and project teamsGather technical and business requirementsTranslate business needs into effective data solutionsCollaborate with architects, consultants, developers, and project managers Continuous ImprovementEvaluate emerging cloud and analytics technologiesContribute to solution architecture and innovation initiativesSupport AI enablement and advanced analytics projectsShare knowledge and best practices across teams What We’re Looking For?Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong SQL and data integration skillsExperience with ETL/ELT development and data pipelinesKnowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft AzureStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, Python, or Data Warehousing is highly regardedConsulting or client-facing experience is an advantageMicrosoft Azure certifications are beneficialPay: From $10,000.00 per monthBenefits:
