Pathlab is a New Zealand-owned and operated diagnostic medical laboratory network providing pathology services (including blood testing, microbiology, histology, and biochemistry) across the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, and Lakes regions.A Senior Laboratory Assistant (or Senior Laboratory Technician in many NZ organizations) supports laboratory operations in medical, research, environmental, food-testing, manufacturing, and quality-control laboratories. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process laboratory samples and specimens.Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses.Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.Record, verify, and report laboratory results accurately.Maintain laboratory inventory, reagents, and supplies.Train and supervise junior laboratory assistants or technicians.Assist scientists, analysts, and laboratory managers with research or testing projects.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and accreditation requirements.Pay: $5,300.00 – $6,200.00 per monthBenefits:
