Job Description

Job Title: Java Developer With AI and Kafka

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Relocation: Yes from nearby states Interview: Video Experience: 6 years (Not less than 6 years)

Duration: 12 Months Visa: H1B, H4EAD, USC (Only these visas) Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency data streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Kafka Connect.
• Seamlessly integrate machine learning models, LLMs, and vector databases into Java microservices using modern frameworks like Spring AI or LangChain.
• Write clean, resilient, and highly concurrent microservices using Java and SpringBoot
• Implement advanced Kafka patterns (exactly-once semantics, dead-letter queues, stateful stream processing) to deliver real-time data to AI inference engines.
• Troubleshoot and optimize JVM memory management, thread utilization, and Kafka cluster topologies to prevent processing bottlenecks.
• Lead technical design discussions, enforce robust testing standards (TDD, unit/integration testing), and mentor mid-level engineers in event-driven and AI patterns.
• Proven experience deploying AI features in a production environment. Hands-on exposure to combining AI utilities with backend tasks (e.g., orchestrating RAG systems, managing model inference loops, parsing vector embeddings).
