Guzman y Gomez operates Mexican fast-casual restaurants with growing locations. Job Description:A Barista at GYG is responsible for preparing coffee while also supporting general restaurant operations. Unlike café-only roles, this is a hybrid position (coffee + fast-food service). Key responsibilities:Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages (espresso-based drinks, cold drinks)Operate and maintain espresso machines and grinders (calibration, milk steaming, extraction)Deliver fast and friendly customer service in a busy environmentMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the coffee station and work areaSupport front-of-house operations:Taking orders and paymentsFood prep (basic)Restocking and cleaningAssisting with burrito/meal preparation Skills required:Coffee-making skills (espresso, milk texturing)Customer service and communicationAbility to work in high-volume environmentsMultitasking (coffee + food service)Teamwork and reliabilityJob Type: Full-timePay: From $4,200.00 per monthBenefits:
