Join a robust medical team led by 50 FACEMs, including five PEMs, and a large Registrar cohort. Play a pivotal role in one of the busiest EDs in the country, with greater than 100,000 presentations annually, 25% paediatric caseload. We are the regional referral centre for Trauma, Paediatrics and Women’s health; and support ACT and a large area of southern NSW. The PGF is supervised by ED Specialists and will assist in the supervision of Junior Medical Officers, as well as provide direct clinical care for patients. The PGF will take part in the on-call consultant roster, with ED Staff Specialist backup on-call. Canberra was voted best city for Quality-of-Life 2025 (Oxford Economics). There is easy access to great restaurants, outdoor recreation and natural beauty, without the traffic of other major cities. It is especially recognized as a good place to raise a family.
