We’re seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Practice Highlights:

  • 53-bed Emergency Department
  • Level I Trauma Center
  • Admission Rate: 22%
  • Academic teaching site with 8 Emergency Medicine residents per year
  • Established 3-year Emergency Medicine residency program
  • EMS Fellowship program
  • 8-hour shifts with 48–56 hours of Physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage
  • Documentation: Cerner/CPOE and PowerNote

What your practice will look like: You’ll practice in a high-acuity academic environment supported by residents, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams. Physicians benefit from strong teaching opportunities, robust specialty support, and exposure to a broad range of emergency medicine pathology while working within one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Texas. About the Facility: Dell Seton Medical Center is the only Level I Trauma Center serving Central Texas and the fourth-busiest Emergency Department in Texas. Opened in 2017, the hospital is a Certified Stroke Center, Magnet-designated facility, and the primary teaching hospital for Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. The facility also serves as a critical safety-net hospital for the region’s underserved population.
