This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you an experienced fire safety professional looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about driving forward fire safety management, through the implementation of a fire safety strategy for the University?
You will be a fire safety professional with experience of fire risk assessment to become a key member of our fire safety team. Working for the Health and Safety Service and reporting to the Senior Fire Safety Manager, you will provide comprehensive fire safety support on all matters relating to compliance with Fire Safety legislation and codes of practice.
You will be comfortable liaising with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and of working in an ever changing environment which is both diverse and challenging. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ensure uniformity in terms of fire safety practice throughout all University properties. Experience of working alongside capital investment programmes is also an advantage.
