Position PurposeTo service and repair Suzlon wind turbines and associated equipment, ensuring the optimal functioning of the wind farm with minimal downtime. This role supports achieving the agreed contractual average availability and maximizes energy production for our customers. Accountabilities 1. Performing turbine maintenance

Work Location: In person
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Suzlon turbines.
- Participate in an on-call roster as required.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with the technical team.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
- Replace major drivetrain components, including gearboxes and generators.
- Maintain mechanical connections across the turbine using high-torque equipment.
2. Site Safety Responsibility
- Ensure all quality, HSE, and environmental standards are maintained, including regular inspections and implementation of corrective actions.
- Report incidents, accidents, near misses, and hazard observations; participate in investigations as required.
- Adhere to Suzlon’s safety policies and procedures, including preparation and use of JSAs/SWMSs.
- Follow all aspects of the Suzlon QHSE Management System and site SRMTMP requirements.
3. Site Record Keeping & Reporting
- Conduct equipment and plant checks in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate site records.
- Create and submit WTG service tasks.
- Report technical issues, including NCRs and CFRs, as required.
4. Customer Service
- Build trust and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Foster positive and effective working relationships.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to improving wind farm performance by reducing maintenance downtime.
- Optimize costs associated with service activities.
- Enhance the quality and safety of operations.
- Share best practices across other Suzlon wind farms.
Key Internal & External Contacts
- Collaborate with Suzlon Technical Field Services for advice and support.
- Coordinate with the Monitoring Center for operational updates.
- Work with the Warehouse team and Contractors.
- Engage with landholders to ensure safe work practices and minimal impact on their operations.
Person Specification – Qualifications /Experience Skills / Competencies Essential Skills
- Must have an Mechanical trade (Mechanical qualification)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, wind turbines, and associated equipment.
