Power BI Developer (Python / AI)

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, Python, Excel, SQL, and AI-driven automation to build enterprise reporting solutions, automate business processes, and deliver data-driven insights. This is a hands-on role for a professional who combines business intelligence, data engineering, and emerging AI technologies to create scalable analytics and automation solutions.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing executive dashboards, developing Python-based automation, and working with enterprise data platforms. Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI frameworks, or AI-powered workflow automation is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Intelligence & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards using Power BI.
• Build interactive KPI, operational, and management reporting solutions.
• Create robust semantic models using Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
• Optimize Power BI reports for scalability and performance.
• Transform complex business data into meaningful insights and visualizations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define KPIs.

Excel Automation & Reporting

• Develop advanced Excel-based reporting and analytical models.
• Utilize Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and Excel automation techniques.
• Create automated reporting solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Experience with VBA/Macros is a plus.

Python Development & Data Engineering

• Develop Python scripts for:
• Data processing
• Reporting automation
• API integrations
• Workflow automation
• Data transformation
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Implement data validation, quality controls, and governance standards.
• Work with SQL databases and enterprise data platforms.

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI to improve business processes.
• Develop AI-powered assistants and workflow automation solutions.
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, and Vector Databases.
• Evaluate and implement modern AI frameworks and automation platforms.
• Support the adoption of AI solutions across business functions.

Collaboration

• Partner with business leaders, product teams, and technology teams to deliver analytics and AI solutions.
• Present insights, recommendations, and solution roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile planning, design discussions, and solution delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Automation.
• Expert-level experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Advanced Excel skills including:

• Financial or Operational Reporting
