- Oversee the general maintenance and cleanliness of church facilities, including cleaning, repairs, and organising supplies
- Assist in setting up for religious services, events, and community activities
- Support religious programmes by facilitating activities and engaging with congregation members
- Provide mentorship and guidance to members of all ages, including working with children during Sunday school or youth groups
- Participate in fundraising initiatives to support church projects and community outreach programmes
- Offer compassionate support and hospice care assistance to members in need, ensuring respectful and dignified care
- Lead or assist in teaching sessions, workshops, or seminars related to faith, community service, or personal development
- Foster a welcoming environment through effective communication skills and leadership within the church community
Requirements
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or leadership roles within a community or faith-based setting
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse age groups and backgrounds
- Ability to work well with children and provide supportive mentorship
- Compassionate attitude suitable for hospice care or supporting vulnerable individuals
- Organisational skills necessary for maintenance tasks and event planning
- Previous experience in fundraising or community outreach is advantageous
- Respectful understanding of religious practices and sensitivity towards diverse beliefs
