Hours: Full-time or part-time hours available (minimum 3 days per week) Job PurposeTo provide administrative and practical support to the Property Manager in all aspects of residential property sales and estate agency work within the North Berwick office. Key Responsibilities· Assisting the Property Manager in all aspects of residential property sales;· Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently;· Maintaining diaries, appointments and viewing schedules;· Preparing sales brochures, schedules and promotional materials;· Inspecting properties and gathering information for marketing purposes;· Liaising with sellers regarding their property and its key selling features;· Assisting with property valuations and market appraisals in accordance with office procedures;· Marketing and promoting properties through online portals, social media and office advertising;· Arranging professional photography and floorplans for properties;· Compiling Home Reports and liaising with qualified surveyors and other relevant parties;· Accompanying and conducting property viewings where required;· Negotiating offers between buyers and sellers;· Progressing sales and liaising with solicitors, surveyors, mortgage brokers and other estate agents;· Advising clients and assisting prospective purchasers throughout the buying process;· Ensuring agreed sale prices are acceptable to both purchaser and seller;· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the local residential and commercial property markets;· Using a range of software packages including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and case management systems;· Maintaining accurate records and client files;· Ensuring confidentiality of client information and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements. Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate should possess:· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;· The ability to work independently and as part of a team;· Good working knowledge of microsoft office applications;· Previous experience within estate agency, property or legal services preferred;· A flexible and professional approach to work;· A full, clean UK driving licence preferred. Hours of WorkThis position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the successful candidate.
