- Conduct landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and general gardening tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Assist with construction projects related to outdoor spaces, including groundwork and structural repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and garden equipment to ensure optimal functioning
- Implement irrigation systems and ensure proper water management for landscaped areas
- Carry out general horticultural activities to promote healthy growth of plants and shrubs
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Support team members in specialised tasks requiring mechanical knowledge or construction expertise
Experience
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of power tools, hand tools, and machinery such as excavators is advantageous
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and general construction practices will be beneficial
- Previous work involving garden or outdoor space design, installation, or upkeep is preferred
- Practical understanding of safety procedures when working with heavy equipment or power tools is essential
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions is required
