Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
  • managing daily store operations, supervising staff, supporting customers, maintaining stock levels, and helping to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with staff to provide customers with clear information about mobile phones, accessories, tech products, repairs, special promotions, and offers.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained, manage inventory efficiently, and make sure products are available for customers.
  • Handle customer complaints, queries, and issues relating to sales, services, repairs, and products in a professional manner.
  • Maintain financial records, oversee daily transactions, and ensure proper cash handling and payment procedures.
  • Monitor store security arrangements and ensure company policies are followed at all times.
  • Approve payments for received supplies and assist with supplier-related matters.
  • Help determine product pricing, discount rates, promotional offers, and credit terms where applicable.
  • Evaluate product quality and ensure products are displayed effectively to attract customers and maximise sales.
  • Support advertising, merchandising, and display techniques to improve store performance.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organised, and presented to a high professional standard.

Requirements:
  • Previous retail, mobile phone, electronics, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in supervising or managing staff would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage stock and daily store operations.
  • Confident in handling customer complaints and resolving issues professionally.
  • Basic understanding of sales targets, pricing, promotions, and financial records.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of mobile phones, accessories, gadgets, or technology products is preferred.

Pay: £28,000.42-£35,600.00 per yearBenefits:

Education:
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:
  • Sales Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
