Permanent Vet at St George's Vets, Fallings Park Up to £65,000 (DOE) Relocation support up to £5,000, as well as visa assistance. St George’s Vets, part of the inspiring Vet Care network, employs over 2 million animals across the UK and is the leading veterinary provider. The position is based at our Fallings Park site in Wolverhampton, with the option to work one day a week at the main Wolverhampton Hospital, which will move into a new, purpose-built facility in late 2027.Work–life balanceFlexible working patterns: 40 hours per week across 4 weekdays with a shared Saturday rota. No out-of-hours or on‑call duties at any of our sites.Location and facilitiesFallings Park is easily accessible from major city centres and is just 8 minutes from M54 Junction 1. The practice is fully equipped with operating theatres, Idexx labs, ultrasound, dental X-ray, CT scanner, digital X-ray, digital microscope, endoscope, laparoscopic kit and more.How you’ll make a differenceAs a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon you will work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied caseload, develop your clinical skills and contribute positively to the clinical culture of the practice.What you’ll be accountable for
  • Managing a varied caseload of small animal patients, both routine and surgical
  • Delivering excellent patient and client care
  • Supporting the ongoing development of colleagues through sharing knowledge and experience

You might be a great fit if…
  • Have a Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility) with the RCVS
  • Experience in routine clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proactive learning attitude, openness to feedback and development
  • Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
