Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Manchester for a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including stock and inventory control, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supervising inbound and outbound goods. The role also includes managing warehouse staff, scheduling shifts, maintaining safety protocols, and optimizing operational workflows to ensure efficient supply chain processes. You will collaborate across departments to meet business goals and ensure seamless running of the warehouse. Skills

• Proven supervising experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, AS400, and transportation management tools.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of 3PL partnerships and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Competence in operating forklift trucks safely; relevant certification is desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret profit & loss data for strategic decision-making.
• Strong communication skills to lead teams and collaborate across departments. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to drive operational excellence within a dynamic warehousing environment while supporting organisational growth through innovative process enhancements.

Pay: £24,420.00-£48,331.75 per yearBenefits:
