Community Staff Nurse / Midwife (band 5), 0-5 Healthy Child Programme (health visiting team). Part-time 22.5 hours

We have an opportunity for enthusiastic and conscientious practitioners to join our 0-5 team based in Crawley. Our service is open Monday to Friday 9-5.

Are you an NMC registered or about to qualify (child, adult, mental health or learning disability) nurse or a midwife with a passion for public health and improving outcomes for children in West Sussex? Would you like to work for a friendly and passionate health visiting team who make a difference to children’s lives every day?

Driving licence and car owner is essential.

Please note that the part-time salary range is £19,243 to £23,425.80 per annum based on 22.5 hour per week.

  • Managing a clinical caseload
  • Undertaking holistic assessments, identifying health needs, parenting capacity and family/environmental factors
  • Implementing and evaluating programmes of care
  • Delivering evidence based health promotion advice
  • Undertaking targeted support in line with our commissioned service
  • Inter-professional working to deliver the healthy child programme and safeguard children
