Islamic Studies Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Islamic Studies Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons that foster a deep understanding of Islamic teachings, history, and values. • Prepare and deliver comprehensive Islamic Studies lessons tailored to various age groups and learning levels.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, curiosity, and active participation.
• Develop educational materials and resources that enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Support students’ spiritual growth by mentoring them on ethical behaviour and community involvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to organise extracurricular activities, workshops, or seminars related to Islamic culture and values.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements in accordance with school policies.
• Engage with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns effectively.

Experience

• Proven experience in teaching Islamic Studies or a related subject within an educational setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding students and supporting their personal development.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse learners.
• Experience working with children or young people, fostering a nurturing and respectful environment.
• Ability to mentor students beyond the classroom setting, promoting positive behaviour and ethical values.
• Knowledge of fundraising activities or community outreach programmes is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in hospice care or working with vulnerable groups is a plus but not mandatory.
