Job description
Provide support to the Pharmacy technicians and Pharmacists by assembling and manufacturing specific aseptically prepared items including chemotherapy. Monitor aseptic service stock levels and ensure required products are ordered. Practice regulatory principles set out in EU Good Manufacturing Practice and follow all Standard Operating Procedures. Contribute to the overall operation of the Aseptic Unit, aid Aseptic Service technicians and participate in training of new staff and students.Responsibilities

- Contribute to overall operation of the Aseptic Unit, aid Aseptic Service technicians and participate in training of new staff and students.
- Conduct quality control procedures such as environmental monitoring, cleaning of restricted areas, alarm testing and reviewing values to highlight out of specification results.
- Maintain accurate documentation and enter environmental monitoring data into the Quality Assurance System software.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 Units relating to Aseptic Services, or equivalent knowledge and practice of aseptic processes, documentation, computer systems.
- Recent knowledge and practice of aseptic processes, documentation, computer systems.
- Good keyboard skills and ability to create documentation on software systems.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail, methodical and accurate.
- Welsh speaking & listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above (desirable).
