We are looking for retail manger for our busy supermarket .Must have more than 1 year exp. Job description: The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales and profitability targets, leading and developing the team, and maintaining high operational standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve individual and store goals.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Manage rostering, staffing levels, and labour costs.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet company standards.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety (if applicable), and company policies.
  • Train and develop new and existing staff members.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
  • Manage cash handling, banking, and point-of-sale procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and head office to ensure efficient store operations.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in retail or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and sales reporting.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
