As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of taste, presentation, and service excellence in our bustling kitchen environment. Requirements:- Minimum of 1 years' experience as a Cook in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume commercial kitchen setting.

- Inspect incoming food deliveries to verify quality, freshness, and compliance with specifications, promptly reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Monitor, calibrate, and adjust temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes, consistently meeting established standards for flavour, presentation, and portion control.
- Report to Chef/Head Chef if there’s any issues in the kitchen
- Season and adjust dishes throughout the cooking process to enhance flavour profiles and maintain menu integrity.
- Plate dishes with precision, ensuring accurate portioning and visually appealing presentation using sauces, garnishes, and finishing touches.
- Maintain proper storage of ingredients in temperature‑controlled environments, adhering to food safety regulations and minimising waste.
- Develop and adapt dishes to accommodate dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerances, and personalised guest preferences.
- Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and forecasting of food quantities based on guest trends and seasonal availability.
- Support the training and development of junior cooks and apprentices, sharing culinary techniques and reinforcing kitchen standards.
