Diesel Truck/ Trailer Mechanic

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel vehicles and trailers
2. Conduct servicing and preventative maintenance
3. Brake, suspension, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
4. Fault finding and mechanical troubleshooting
5. Trailer and Dolly servicing, maintenance and repairs.
6. Completing job cards/paperwork
7. Ensuring Road Worthiness and Compliance to the NHVAS.
8. Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects
9. Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Skills & Experience

1. Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and/or Trailer Mechanic
2. Relevant trade qualification preferred
3. Strong work ethic and attention to detail
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. MC licence advantageous but not essential
