About the roleOur firm is a large specialist subcontracting company based in Sydney, seeking an experienced highly motivated Contracts Administrator to be based at our Head Office.
The Contracts Administrator’s primary responsibility, while reporting to the General Manager, is to efficiently manage our Contracts with the Head Contractor and Minor Subcontractors on all projects, and ensure they are meeting optimal budgeted labour and material targets. 
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate’s role would include:●       Project set up once tender has been awarded, complete project handover folder for handover meeting with Site Supervisor and Senior Management●       Liaising with management for site related contract issues●       Tender package to contractors and subcontractors negotiations●       Project completion reports to be prepared at the end of each project for General Manager review prior to meeting review●       O&M Manuals, QA documents eg Certificates to be completed as required by Head Contractor throughout the project●       Develop, implement and record WHSE●       Assisting the General Manager with progress claims and variations for submitting to the Head Contractor●       Approving subcontractor invoices and progress claims while keeping our subcontractor budgets up to date with each invoice●       Organisation of supply quotations for materials, maintain plant and equipment registers●       Assisting with monthly cost reports●       Minute taking and administration of meeting notes●       Productivity tracking using our Trade-Up software●       Procurement and purchasing●       Document control including invoice approval●       Inductions online●       Input budgets into Levesys software●       Assisting in all End of Month procedures, including invoice approval, stock takes / plant and equipment registers, labour costs for Work In Progress (WIP) reports

Qualifications and experience●       A minimum of 2 years experience in contracts administration in Construction Industry●       Tertiary construction qualification or minimum 2 years post-graduate from a Construction Management course●       Demonstrated experience and confidence in database development and management●       WH&S Experience●       Excellent understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Excel (must)●       A strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn●       Attention to detail, grammar and punctuation, attentive listener●       Excellent written and oral communication skills●       Excellent time management and organisational skills●       Current driver licence is essential

What we offer:We are seeking an individual who is hardworking, highly organised, trustworthy, reliable and wants to join a friendly and dedicated team. For this, we can offer you a competitive remuneration package. We will consider 482 visa sponsorship in certain circumstances after a successful probation period of six months. We would also consider a return-to-work parent, more senior. However, 5 days a week is essential with reduced working hours if required.
